Whether you're using our Bed and Breakfast facilities for an overnight stay, or just popping in a quick drink and bite to eat. You will be welcomed to our family run hotel where we pride our self on giving a warm welcome.

Our location is ideally situated to break-up your journey if traveling to Northern Scotland or to the Midlands and Southern England. Or planning on making the most of all our facilities while taking a few days to enjoy what Dumfries and Galloway has to offer on our doorstep. We can fulfill your requirements to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Our Journey - so far...

We purchases the hotel in 2005 and plans were soon underway to start the massive job of refurbishment. We have designed our rooms to be spacious and comfortable, all with en-suite bathrooms, tea making facilities and flat screen digital TVs. Giving each room the attention to detail the hotel deserves - exposed sandstone and wooden lintels are a few of the features. We have 6 room finished and a further 5 room that are under construction and should be available very soon. We aim to keep the disturbance to a minimum as to not affect your stay, but, please don't hesitate to let us know if we can assist in any way. We are always more than happy to help.

Deposits & Cancellation

All internet bookings will be paid in full at time of confirmation. We ask for a full 72 hours cancellation notice from your date of arrival, in which case, we will refund your deposit. If you cancel after this time, we will try and let the room again. If we are successful then we will refund the deposit, otherwise the cost of the first nights accommodation will be due.

Arrival & Departure Times
We prefer our guests to arrive between 4pm and 8pm, although alternative times are available by request. Guests should aim to leave by 10.00am on their day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.

Children & Pets
Children are welcome and we are happy to accept well behaved dogs (£6 per dog charge). Please ensure animals do not sleep on the beds and furniture (you will need to provide their own bedding). Failing to do this will result in a cleaning charge of £35.00.
